Dr. Monica Bansal

Dr. Monica Bansal is a Professor of Business, Accounting, and Finance and serves as an Assistant Director at Doc Downer Business Solutions and Academic Services LLC. She boasts over 15 years of global academic experience in higher education, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Dr. Bansal holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, and an MBA in Finance, and is currently pursuing a DBA at the University of Fairfax. She is an international publisher with numerous publications, including books, book chapters, and articles covering CSR, entrepreneurship, microfinance, and accounting. Dr. Bansal has presented papers at multiple international symposiums. She also serves as a reviewer for the Global Journal of Accounting and Finance, overseeing the research work of other authors. Additionally, she has previously served as a secretary for the Curriculum Development Committee and Dissertation Committee at various universities.

With years of experience in course development and expertise in accounting and finance at Doc Downer, she not only creates and instructs personal finance and accounting courses for businesses and students but also offers financial reporting, advising, and bookkeeping services to both businesses and individuals. She aims to assist students and professionals in overcoming challenges related to accounting and financial concepts.

Dr. Yvonne Downer

Dr. Downer is the former Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance at D&S Medical Consulting firm and has served as an adjunct professor of accounting, finance, and business for over eight years. Dr. Downer has mentored both undergraduate and graduate learners and possesses over 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, and auditing, working with numerous large and small corporations. She holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) with a focus in Accounting from South University, a Master’s in Accounting and Finance Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and earned a BA in Accounting and Technical Management from DeVry University with honors. She is a member of Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity (PBL), dedicated to inspiring and developing the next generation of leaders by preparing members for careers in business and related fields. Dr. Downer is also a member of the National Honor Society (NHS) and Sigma Beta Delta, an Honor Society for students in the business or management field of study.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). As an international publisher, she has authored a book chapter on leadership. With her passion for accounting and finance, she believes they are not just careers but the backbone of any business unit. Dr. Downer acknowledges the challenges faced by business owners and students. Alongside her colleagues, she established Doc Downer Business Solutions & Academic Services, LLC to effectively serve entrepreneurs, business owners, students, and individuals at affordable prices, aiding them in overcoming their challenges.

Rebecca Yarbrough

Rebecca Yarbrough founded Yarbrough Tax Accounting & Consulting Services, formally known as RLC Accounting Services, Inc. Her services focus on Taxation. With over 20 years of experience in auditing and finance, she has tax preparation and audit compliance expertise. She is highly knowledgeable in tax laws and works with clients to optimize their financial strategies. Rebecca has obtained several educational degrees, an Associate degree in Accounting, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and later earned her master’s degree with a focus in Management/Accounting. Rebecca has obtained her Enrolled Agent License. Rebecca is a native of Alabama currently residing in the state of Maryland. She started her career as a senior accountant with Talladega Superspeedway. Throughout her years of employment, she has worked for several fortune five hundred companies, such as Honda Corporation, TYCO Inc, and Springs Water, as a Senior Accountant/Supervisor. Rebecca started her government career with the Internal Revenue Service as a Federal Revenue Agent auditing Small Businesses, LLCs, S corporations, and Partnerships. As her career grew with the IRS, she became a Supervisor of Audit and worked with the Department of Treasury as a Tax advisor.    Rebecca is currently employed with the Federal Elections Commission as Supervisory of Audit in Washington, DC. Rebecca is dedicated to helping adults and young learners achieve their career and entrepreneurship goals. Rebecca is a wife and mother of three beautiful girls. She is an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. member and other professional organizations. She also serves her community by volunteering and serving on two non-profit boards of directors. Rebecca leads by the motto of the famous Maya Angelou “The things you are passionate about are not random; they are your calling.”

Dr. Kenyatta Hills

Dr. Kenyatta Hills has 17 years of experience developing, implementing, and managing complex projects for organizations as a program manager and director of center operations. Dr. Hills is the Co-owner/Founder of DH Research and Consulting, LLC a consulting firm that offers professional business services in the areas of 1) educational leadership, 2) human resource management,3) emotional intelligence. Dr. Hills has taught in higher education for 7 years. She has experience teaching and creating curriculum for business communication, leadership strategies, emotional intelligence, professional communication, management and organizational behavior, and project management undergraduate and graduate courses. Dr. Hills’ research interests include motivational language, emotional intelligence, organizational communication, business sustainability, business ethics, and organizational behavior. She is an academic contributor and chief editor for the international book “Multi-Disciplinary Perspectives in Thought Leadership”. Dr. Hills conducts speeches, workshops, and courses centered on the practice of Emotional Intelligence in personal and professional relationships.
